In The Green Room with Rev.Scherie

I was born, raised and still live on our family farm.  I moved away and back again.  I am a country girl at Heart.  I cherish my memories of neighbors, gardening... helping in the field... running barefoot all summer,  drinking cold raw milk from the bulk tank on my grandparents farm.  Country Living Gave me Virtues that were ingrained  of telling the truth, fess up to your mistakes and to be a good person.  Have I always been all of these? No... But they were my inner compass that stayed and guided me back when I have gotten lost.

I have 3 grown children that I couldn't be more proud of.  They are all happily married.. and I have 2 new Grandbabies this year.  A whole new level of Happiness I could not have imagined.

 I am an Ordained Interfaith Minister, through Universal Brotherhood.  Interfaith, for me, this means that I honor anyone's choice of faith and belief... whatever they are.. as Mine are unique to me.

Now- how this came to be?  in 1999 I was in a horseback riding accident where the horse I was riding reared up --   I pulled her back on top of me as I slid of her back.  I had been a dedicated jogger up to that day.  I had a cracked lower vertebrae, dislocated right hip, broken pelvic bone, hairline fracture in my left hip, Hip bone fragments in my right hip socket, compound fracture - right ankle. 

  What happened on this journey of healing, led me to what I do today.   I discovered that Healing is a Mind, Body & Spirit process.  They are all connected.  I learned how to nurture myself and how to allow others to help me.      I learned to appreciate the little things.

 I always had the belief the body could heal from anything.. I just didn't realize how the heart and spirit were attached to it all.  I was introduced to Alternative Healing as the Medical Doctors and Physical Therapists would say... after 18 months where you are is where you will be.  I couldn't accept that.  The head of Orthopedic Surgery at the U of I...   said a year later... that I was a walking miracle.

  I began helping my friends with migraines and pains at work just from watching the healer in my healing sessions.  To be legal to lay hands on another person... one had to be a Licensed Massage Therapist.. or a Minister. 

The Minister appealed to me.  Good friends of mine - Rob and Megan - in 2005 asked if I would be their Wedding Minister. And this has turned into what I Love to Do- Married Life should be part of life that brings Joy and Happiness into your life.    I love helping couples to create together their 'Ceremony of Love for Each Other'.  This has been rewarding beyond what I could have ever imagined.  And now has expanded to doing Funeral-Life Celebrations...and Baptisms, All incredibly important ceremonies of Love and Life. And now to expand to other platforms of public speaking of Love - Life and Happiness- Divine Harmonics.

I went full time in my own business last fall.  I love to create new ways to perceive & translate with the purpose of  easier understanding of  healing and happiness that anyone can use to make their life better. I leave Your heart and self-worth safe and empowered.  What lights You up is what I listen to.  I hold myself accountable ~ I choose to learn from my experiences... and use them as pieces into to my bigger puzzle of Being Happy.  

   This is my Mission. The experiences in my  life of joy and those  that have been difficult and heart breaking, to  be used in  helping others with their Life's Purpose of Being Happy and finding their Mission.   

Surround Yourself with those that You Love and those that Love You.   Know, trust and use your strengths and talents..   Being Happy ~~   affects others in ways that are beyond our understanding.  It can seem    selfish.  But it’s NOT :)
